Brrrr!!!

We definitely cannot wait until the warmer weather gets here! We woke up to zero heat in the house on Sunday morning. Long story short, we had to call our heating/cooling company to come over, on an emergency call basis, and asses the problem. It turned out to be a "circuit board", which in layman's terms is the "brain" of the furnace. We are in the process of exploring a new furnace but at least have our heat back on. Luckily, we were able to fire up the fireplace and the pups knew exactly where to hang out to stay warm. They love that sun!

Spring...around the corner?

Spring is around the corner! We had a nice 50 degree day today. I know we are not even close to Spring, but it is nice to bask in the warmer temperatures, even if it is for only a day. I just wish it would stick around one more day since I am travelling to Connecticut for the day. Back to reality with frigid temperatures and high winds.

Michol and I had a nice quiet weekend taking a road trip on Saturday up to the outlets in Lake George. Michol was on the hunt for some new maternity digs and we had a nice birthday lunch for Mom Merriman at the house. Harry and Lisa were also in attendance for the festivities. The pups really enjoyed the company and managed to slobber on just about everyone!

Michol has been doing great at 24 weeks. I just felt my first little "kick" today. It's not kickboxing worthy yet, but the baby has been moving around a lot lately and getting bigger and bigger each week. She is now the size of a corn!

4 Strikes in a Row!!!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately...It has been a busy last few weeks with work and shovelling snow. I hope everyone survived the last few snow storms we have had. It looks like we have one more coming on Saturday, although it is only looking like 3-6 inches. The pups seemed to know exactly what to do when not outside running through the snow.

Michol and I had a bowling outing with the folks from our Kickboxing class this past Saturday and I had one of my all-time best scores. I managed to bowl a 166 in the first game and a 134 in the second. As you can tell, bowling is not my forte but I did throw 4 strikes in a row. That 10 pound ball was working to my advantage that night. Michol was a real trooper even though she didn't bowl her best...after all, she was bowling for two!
