Well...not really Mallory's first birthday party, but the first one she remembers :)
One of Mallory's classmates had a birthday party at a place called Tumbling Tykes in Latham this past weekend and she had such a great time. We weren't sure how things were going to go since Mallory is so used to seeing these kids at school during the week, but she jumped right in and had a ball (literally!)!

The party was only reserved for a couple of hours but there was a lot of playing and interacting which is great for her. They had cupcakes and fruit for food and sang happy birthday before going back to the play area. Mallory enjoyed playing in the castles and playing with the play food/kitchen area. She was really drawn to this slightly older girl. The minute she saw this girl, she went right up to her, smiled, and gave her a bear hug!

Mallory was completely wiped out when it was time to leave....she had a quick dinner and was off to bed! Overall....successful outing!
